    Hello , Sir. Would you say that just using this spray alone, As a drying aid is enough protection even without actually applying a Fusso base coat?

    • @ObsessiveCarDetailer
      @ObsessiveCarDetailer 3 дні тому

      Hi, Soft99 suggest it could last 180 days (about 6 months). Its a typical Soft99 product in as much as easy on easy off and it delivers. Its designed to use as a topper for Fusso wax but if you dont want to go to the expense or bother to wax it then you will be fine just using this spray but for me I would use it after every wash and that way the car will always have protection on it, assuming you wash the car monthly at least. Hope thats of some help

      @@ObsessiveCarDetailer Thank you very much for replying Sir, Allow me to ask one more question. People say that a base coat of paste wax is necessary but is that really necessary? Assuming I wash my car regularly and keep it clean, Will this formula work for me (not to mention it's very very cheap aswell) I currently use TW Ice spray wax, I applied it once dry on my vehicle and then use it as drying aid every other wash, The beading is fantastic and the car is insanely glossy. It's been a month and the car is still beading water. Will just using that product alone give my car protection or is it better to apply a base wax coat. Spray waxes have come a long way nowadays and they also protect trims and plastic parts etc.

      @@biiso8205 No problem, thats why I run the channel so enthusiasts like us can share and learn. I always like to use a combination of sealant with wax on top but thats just a preference. If you are washing your car on a regular weekly basis and applying something like soft99 fusso coat every time then you are good to go. But let me ask you a question, If TW ice spray wax is working for you why are you considering changing?. I like to change and try new products mainly because I run the channel but if I didn't then I would find my favourite and stick with it if it worked for me so why care you considering changing?. Please could you advise? I have a 2 year old car treated with Gardex. I have products with the car to wash with, but can I use other products? Could you advise in which order I should wash? Rinse, snow Foam, wash, rinse etc. Thanks in anticipation. Sue

    • @ObsessiveCarDetailer
      @ObsessiveCarDetailer 4 дні тому

      Hello Sue, Gardex is just a form of protection often applied by dealerships. Im not a big fan of these products as they seldom last as long as you are lead to believe in my opinion. So let's take your questions in order. Yes you can use other products to wash the car & yes you can apply other products on to your car. Some people like to rinse the car first, others prefer to apply a pre wash. Depending on how dirty your car is you may want to rinse off as much dirt as possible or if its lightly dirty then apply snow foam and let it dwell for around 5 min but DO NOT let it dry on the car. Once the snow foam has dwelt then rinse it off before you contact wash the car, again do not let the soap dry on the car so if its hot maybe wash a panel at a time. After washing the car you then rinse and dry it before adding a sealant or a wax depending on your preference. If you live in a hard water area then do not let any products or even water dry on the car or you will creat a lot of work for yourself. Check out any of my video and any issues just drop me a comment and I will always get back to you. I hope this is of some help but like I said any worries just drop me a comment

    Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and upload this Martin. I'm interested in the QD options you mentioned, I'm finding the Topaz branded QD that was given post application of PPF front end and ceramic overall a bit hit and miss., I notice even the difference between the PPF areas and non-PPF areas - not unexpected but I've got to say you can't beat actual paint for working on. Just thought I’d say that I used Pure, Titan and Seal today. Found Pure and Titan pretty easy to use and they both left a lovely, glossy finish. Didn’t quite know what to make of Seal, particularly the orange colour, but will persevere and try it again in a months time either as a QD or as a drying aid. I’ll also be using a QD after my weekly washes, either the M&K QD (got a litre of it in their sale) or GT QD or Soft99 luxury Gloss.

      Yep agree with you Michael, difficult to say how Seal has impacted as Titan is difficult to improve. I want to use Seal as a drying aid to try it out but as you say you could use it after the next wash but how do you decide between GT2QD or Soft99 Luxury Gloss, two real quality products
